The OLD FORT DRUMMOND CEMETERY, now abandoned, and located
on private property, had its final markers removed during the 1950's. There are
two hand-carved wooden markers and they are located in the Drummond Island
Museum which is located near "The Settlement." The names are as follows:

KELLY, Patrick; Soldier in his Magestys 68th Reg. Durham Light Infantry who
departed this life on the 26th of August 1827. Aged 31 years.

SOLOMON, William Jr.; who departed this life on the 21st of December 1825.
Aged 23 years.
