The Fair Use copyright policy allows our lookup volunteers to do minimal look ups on copyrighted publications. Please don't abuse this privilege by asking for more. If you find that a publication has more information than a look-up can provide, your local bookstore should be able to order the book for you.

• Harbor Springs Rampage Yearbooks Leslie Bagwell will do look-ups for the years: 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1964, and the Centennial with senior pictures and names from 1887 through 1986.
• Harbor Springs & Petoskey Phone Books Leslie Bagwell will do look-ups for the years: 1959, and 1960.

• YESTERDAY'S PEOPLE REVISITED, written by Raymond Kalbfleisch with lookups done by Mila Swartout-Powell. It is a chronology of northern Emmet County and its people spanning a time frame from the 1800's to the mid 1900's. Indexed.
• THE HISTORY OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN AND ITS PEOPLE by Perry F. Powers (Published in 1912), including people of EMMET County. This is a book with lookups done by Lyn BLAKE Schwartz. If you are inquisitive about a name please ask specific questions. Although the information included is brief, the books contained detailed accounts of each person including their origin, parents, children, spouses names, etc. Very interesting reading. Please contact Lyn for additional information and she will be happy to type as much of the information as she feels would be of interest to you. If you are anxious to have her check on a name, she will see if the name is in the index. Most of the people are prominent leaders in the community during that time period such as: postmasters, war heroes, lawyers, judges, business owners, etc.
• PETOSKEY CITY DIRECTORY for 1941. A city directory is similar to a phonebook, except that these books usually contain family member information, too. This lookup is provided by Brenda Wolfgram Moore. Please place "1941 Petoskey City Directory" in the subject line of your email.
