THANKS AGAIN CHARLEY!!!!

WOW, what information that was sent to you!  THANK-YOU for sharing! I REALLY appreciate it!

I checked out the listings for people who was in the civil war in Michigan and didn't notice my Thomas J. WIGGINS.
He may have joined from another State. I do have a letter (somewhere) that was written to my Thomas J. WIGGINS from a man in the Civil War,
dated 1864.  He addressed it Mr. Thomas J. WIGGINS esq. Do you happen to know what esq. stood for?

I along time ago was checking into the marriage of the Thomas WIGGINS who married Mary BAKER  ( in the information that you sent to me)  I at one time thought that he was my Thomas!   I BET somehow they ARE related!

Here is the obituary that I located of my 3rd Great Grandmother. She had remarried and it didn't list all her other WIGGINS children:

MRS. B. A. BOON DEAD
Aged Pioneer woman succumbs to illness.

Mrs. Betsey Ann SURRARRER BOON died at the house of her son Charles, Saturday afternoon following a three weeks illness.
The funeral was held from the Methodist Church Oak Grove, Monday at 11 a.m. and interment was made in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Boon was born in New York State, near Buffalo, in July 1837, and came to Michigan with her parents when nine years old. At the age of
17 she married at her home in Croton township to Thos. Wiggins and to them were born three sons and two daughters. Mrs. Martin Miller, of Croton township, is the only child from this union living near here now. Mr. Wiggins was killed in the Civil War, and later she married James Boon who died suddenly 15 years ago from an accident. To this union was born Lydia, John D., Charles, and Harry.
Mrs. Boon was a kind and indulgent mother and obliging neighbor and had many friends.

Thomas and Betsey's son:
Samuel Douglas WIGGINS was born 1856
married 1st: 1878 Defiance Co., Ohio to Mary Van Wormer ( she was born Crawford Co., Pa)
married 2nd: 1881 Michigan to: Alvira Brown
I haven't any futher information on him and his family.

I am going to scan two pictures to send to you.
1. Thomas J. WIGGINS ( my 3rd G. Grandfather)
2. Samuel Douglas WIGGINS ( Thomas' son)
Please let me know if there are family features!!    :-)

I really appreciate your help! You are the only person researching WIGGINS that has been willing to share info with me!
