I am a descendant of Richard and Polly Dye and have done much research ofthe Dye line. Many of this line still live in Ionia. I have many contacts in other states also looking up this line. I am looking for the stories of their lives and of their children's lives especially from newspaper archives. I have a copy of the History of Ionia and Montcalm Co. and looking for any other printed sources available of these lines.

Sons of Bezaleel LOCKE, of Jefferson County, NY, who moved to Gratiot County, MI, were: James William LOCKE, Philander C. LOCKE and Herbert Robert (he may have been a grandson of Bezaleel). COLE, Louise - FOSTER, Jonah, Montcalm Co. Greenville MI married in Greenville, 1856. MI 1860 census living in Greenville. Jonah & Louise listed NY as birth place. Louise died in 1889, Jonah in 1910. I am looking for information on Louise & Jonah. One of Louise & Jonah's children, Nirum Foster is my great grandfather. Nirum married Gertrude NEARE in 1889. Seeking any information on Quirin and Mary SMITH (sometimes spelled SCHMITT) and their ancestors or relatives. They were farmers from around Pewamo. Catholic. Probably immigrants from Germany around 1850. Quirin was born November 8, 1837. Mary was born May 6, 1839. They were married August 29, 1866 (or close to that date). Had 12 children. Looking for information on JAMES JACKSON, his wife CAROLINE,and her children CHARLES AND ALEMEDA DONAKER. They lived in Ferris Township, Montcalm County in 1880. Both men worked in a sawmill. The family moved to Ferris Twp from Ionia County, and earlier from Ohio. Charles descendants have lived in Lowell and Grand Rapids since this time. Will exchange data on the Donaker family.
