For the ladies, there is also a Daughters organization that you can obtain more information about from the same site.

A complete listing of all Michigan men who served in the Civil War has been compiled into a set of books called the Record of Service of Michigan Volunteers in the Civil War (46 volumes), available at the Library of Michigan Bon microfiche. Other libraries may have hard copies, as does the Grand Rapids Public Library
