Searching for information on the RICKERD line, beginning with Alfred C. RICKERD, born @1847 in Lenox, Madison Co., NY, parents unknown at this time. Alfred married Mary WHITE, on July 2, 1871, in Hubbardsville, Muir, Ionia Co., MI. They had the following children: Fred Curtis, Byron E., Howard & Chauncey. Fred Curtis was residing in Kent Co., MI in 1913, when he married Myrtle PATTY, he later resided in Ottawa Co., where he died in 1942. Byron E. was residing in Indian River, Cheboygan Co., MI when he died in 1965. Howard was residing in Morley, Mecosta Co., in 1983 when he died. I am trying to find the death of Mary Schoch between 1910 and 1921. Her fathers name is Henry Williams and her mother is Elizabeth Loree. I believe she was born July 1867 in Livingston Co. Mi. but lived in Mecosta Co. She had two children by her first marriage to John Berlin. Their names are Burr Berlin and Paulina Berlin (married name Amsdill. Mary's spouse at the time of her death was Henry Schoch. (spelling could vary)

I am looking for information on a Morgan Lewis who was born in 1830. His wife Mrs. Aurelia Simmons was born in 1840 and his stepson Marion Simmons was born in 1862. By 1880, he was living in Mecosta Co. MI with his wife Aurelia and stepson Marion. They are living next door to a Granville or Granison Lousey, who adopted Adelia Chaffee, a dau of William Chaffee and Jane Edgcomb.

I am looking for records regarding Alex LaFontaine or Fountain who was my maternal grandfather. He is buried in Mecosta County but don't remember the name of the cemetery.. He was married to Eita Richardson. Their children were Ina Fountain, Hazel, George, Mary and one more boy? (Can't remember the name). Alex LaFontaine or Fountain was born in Sault St. Marie area and had two other brothers. They were orphaned and moved to Traverse City and lived in an orphanage there. I understand the records were burned in a fire thus I am trying to trace any information I can get. Thank you for any help you can give me. I was born in Lakeview Michigan and raised in Big Rapids.
