Does anyone have information about the Scheidel family? Angeline Scheidel b.September 25,1850 in Waterloo, Ontario. She married Martin T. Pegg bFebruary 15, 1842 Miami, Ohio. They were married January 17,1866 in Wheatland, Mecosta. Angeline died March 5, 1896 and buried in Reed City, Osceola. Her father Jacob, mother Sarah Schmitt Scheidel, moved to Mecosta in the early 1850's.

In particular, I am looking for information to confirm if a Walter Samuel Hoag was born in Big Rapids Michigan. I have notes from my grandmother that indicate this but I have been unable to confirm this information. I have no date for his birth. I estimate it to be between 1850 and 1870. His fathers name may have been Joseph Hoag. If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am seeking information on Anna Mae GREENFIELD, born ca. 1907-1909 in Mecosta County, Barryton, MI. Left while in her teens and moved to Aberdeen, Tacoma, Pierce County, WA. Would like to make contact with anyone who knew her or about her family. Willing to share information with family members. She lived and worked as a laundress for a period of time in the 1920's in Aberdeen and worked as a waitress in the Tacoma Inn, Tacoma, WA. It is said that my great-grandfather Asa Davis built and operated the General Store at Hawkins about 1884. His wifes name was Sarah nee Singer. They had three children. Monroe Lilly and Alice. They came from Stanwwod and as the story goes, had operated the General Store there also.I am not sure of the authenticity of this story and if you have any thing on this I would greatly appreciate any input.
