Death of Klaas DeBruyn

Klaas DeBruyn, a well known and old resident of Grand Haven died at shortly before 11 o’clock, this morning from an illness with bowel and stomach troubles. He had been ill much of the time since last August.

Mr. DeBruyn was born in the Netherlands and was 35 years, 1 month, and 2 days of age. He came to America and settled with his parents thirty years ago in Grand Haven. He has lived here ever since and had many friends about the city. He leaves to mourn his death his parents Mr. and Mrs. Arie DeBruyn and the following brothers: John, Cornelius, and Marinus DeBruyn.

Funeral will take place from his late home on Lafayette St., Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. P. DeBruyn will conduct the service.
