Agostino Sickles was born about 1835, in New York, the son of Charles and Adeline Sickles,

Agostino Sickles enlisted as private in Co. B, 5 MI Cavalry, on December 31, 1863, in Grand Rapids, age 27. He mustered out on June 20, 1865. He transferred to Co. B, 1 MI Cavalry, on June 20, 1865, and mustered out March 10, 1866.
