Charles Sickles, War of 1812 veteran

Charles Sickles was born June 27, 1794, in New York. He was a War of 1812 veteran and served as private in Yale’s Battalion, NY Militia. He married Adeline Callan, daughter of James Callan and Mary Ogden, according to Adeline’s death certificate. Charles died June 3, 1872, according to his gravestone record and is buried in Advent Cemetery, Wright Township, Ottawa County, MI. Adeline Sickles is also buried in Advent Cemetery.
