Death of Richard VanToll.

In the death of Richard VanToll this morning, a well known young, town boy passed away. His passing away seemed particularly sad from the fact that he was so young and only a short time ago he was a jolly, good natured boy, healthy and strong.

About seven months ago he was taken with consumption and day by day his suffering increased, and he continually grew weaker. Up to the last he had his faculties and knew that death was near, but bore his sufferings patiently. The death bed scene last night was a sad one. His relatives and many friends were present and each bade good by in turn. He lingered between life and death until seven o’clock this morning when the fatal spark fled.

Deceased would have been 19 years of age, next month. Besides his parents, Capt. and Mrs. Aart VanToll, also many near and dear relatives, the deceased had many young friends who will be sorrow at his early taking off. The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon.
